Story: I took inspiration for this sculpture from an antique 1910 mechanical Bing German Teddy Bear. The traditional Bing Bear was distinguishable by its typical long nose and pronounced humpback.
With a worn look, darned nose and many threadbare places this bronze sculpture is a fun object and revives nostalgic memories of our own childhood teddy bears.
(Please note this sculpture is not operated by a clockwork system and therefore does not move any limbs or walks. The key in the back is fixed and part of the sculpture.)
